3.LAND,SOIL,WATER,NATURAL VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES 4.WHY DO WE NEED A PARLIAMENT ?

A. LEARNING OUTCOMES (Specific to the lesson mapped with NCERT learning outcomes) :
1. Student will be able to know the causes, outbreak & result of blue Rebellion. They will explain it with
proper reason.
2. Students will be able to be familiar with different forms of tribal societies and tribal groups in different
parts of the country rebelled against the British rule.
3. Learners will be able to understand the Land, Soil, Water, Natural Vegetation and Wildlife as a valuable
Resources and know the importance of conservation for sustainable development.
4. The learners will be able to know about the major features and functioning of the parliament.
5. The learners will be able to understand the relation between ideas of individuals participating in the
process of decision making and a democratic government’s need to have the consent of the country’s
citizens .
B. Details of Pedagogical Strategies / process (Art integrated / Sports integrated/ Story telling based/ Toy
based/ Any other pedagogy) :-
1. Story telling , Lecture cum demonstration, student - teacher interactions.
2. Collaborative learning, through the visuals of PPT, Web Charts ,Flow Charts ,Compare and Contrast
Matrix.
3. You-tube videos, peer discussion and by applying the methods of illustration, etc.
4. Nature walk, Art integrated project on natural resources and Toy making as a part of tribal culture.
C. Topic of the lesson for presentation by the students ( Once in a week by rearranging classroom setting
suitable for group work) :-
1. Students will be divided into groups & each group has been given task of representing different sub-
topics Like :-
a. System of indigo cultivation and challenges.
b. Problems faced by the tribal people during colonial period.
c. Land as a part of important natural resource.
d. “Role of Indian Parliament” .

1. Critical thinking and collaboration, Analytical and creative thinking, Effective communication skill,
Citizenship, Decision making, Interpersonal skills and Media literacy.

1. Exposition of difficult word beforehand to enable to grasp the topic properly and hands on experiment.
2. Asking to identify the location of major tribal groups on the given map of India.
3. Asking to identify the different types of farming pattern on given chart.
4. Make a list of National and Regional political parties , their symbols and prominent leaders of India.
5. Project work on conservation of Natural Resources- Themed-WATER HARVESTING.
6. Quiz contest, Diagram/Flow chart, Learning by doing ,Peer Assessment and Nature walk.
