KNOWLEDGE-

Students will develop the ability to understand –


1. First of all Ice breaking Activity will be conducted and students will be instructed to find
out some angles in their class room and to give some models of angles of different
shapes based on side angles.
2.Recall memory about line segment, points, line and rays.
3.Acute angle, right angle and obtuse angle
4.Complementary angles, supplementary angles, Linear pair of angles, adjacent angles,
and vertically opposite angles.
5.Intersecting lines,Transversal line and Angle made by transversal line

6.Interior Angles, Pairs of Corresponding angle, Pair of Alternate interior angles and pair of
interior angles on the same side of transversal line.

B. DETAILS OF PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGIES/PROCESS

STRATEGIES USED-
Inductive Deductive Reasoning, Art integrated &Sports integrated
Transaction in the Class would Proceed in the following Manner:-
1)The Class would start with a discussion on what the students have already learnt in
the previous classes and hence what is it that they would learn now.

2)They would also be told the significance of the topic that they would be studying.
INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC-
Introduction about Lines and Angles with Suitable Examples.
a. Basic concepts and Content would be shared.
b. Guided practice followed by Independent Practice of NCERT based/ type questions
to be discussed in the classroom.
c. TOPIC OF THE LESSON FOR PRESENTATION BY THESTUDENTS-
(Once in a week by rearranging classroom setting suitable for group work)
Students will be divided into groups & each group has been given task to made
some examples of Adjacent angle, Linear pair of angles, straight angles Acute
angle, Right angle and Obtuse angle etc.
