Drop Call Count Breakdown (1/2)
▪ Call drops happen due to various reasons after the MS seizes a traffic channel.
▪ Typically, most call drops occur in over Radio interface (+85%). These call drops are classified into two state which known as
Radio Drop (stable state) and Handover Drop.
▪ Other types of call drops are due Abis link Failure, Equipment Failure and No MR from MS for a Long Time which are known
as BSS drop(Ops Issue) Category by Drop Rate_ Daily vs BBH

Drop Call Count Breakdown
Huawei Drop Call Count Breakdown
The BSC measures call drops by cause, which facilitates call drop type identification and cause analysis.
Typically, most call drops in a network occur over radio interface (CM33C). These call drops are classified into call drops that occur in the
stable state (CM330) and call drops that occur during handover (CM331).
Other types of call drops are CM333 Abis link Failure and CM334 Equipment Failure. The loopback function is seldom used in the network,
therefore, loopback call drops (CM397 & CM385) seldom occur.
