Call Analysis
▪ Huawei Network daily & BH per site Traffic are 301 Erl and 31 Erl respectively. Mymensingh is the highest
loaded (Daily/BH: 441/44)& Sylhet is lowest (Daily/BH: 221/23) respectively.
▪ Huawei Network daily & BH CDR is 0.51% and 0.75 % respectively. Highest in Rangpur (Daily/BH: 0.75/
1.13) & Rajshahi (Daily/BH: 0.56/0.73) respectively.
▪ Daily & BH CDR >1% Cell count are 12%(2124) and 25%(4347) respectively in Network level. Highest in
Rangpur (Daily/BH: 24%/43%) and Rajshahi (Daily/BH: 16%/33%) respectively.
Notes:
- Radio drop occur due Radio link fail, T200 expired, Rel
Indication & Sequence Error
- 80% drop mostly occur due radio link failure (Connection
Failure)
- 20% drop mostly occur due T200 timer expired (Error
Indication)
Notes:
- 87% (77%+10%) HO drop mostly occurring due outgoing Inter
Cell HO Fail(TCH)
- 12% HO drop occurring due timer expired (intra Cell HO failed)

Call Drop Study: Poor Preforming TRX Identifications
(3/3)
▪ 5500+ Trx (4K cells) running with poor HOASR (SR< 90%) which average daily CDR is .81%
▪ 1700 Trx (1.4K+ cells) running poor TASR ( SR < 98%) which average daily CDR is 0.70%
Notes:
- Poor HOASR: Mostly for configurations mismatch and rest
HW fault.
- Poor TASR: Mostly for HW fault and Configuration mismatch
Actions for Drop Call Drop Alleviation
This counter provides the number of call drops on the TCH of a cell. The causes for call drops are air interface fault, no
measurement report from the MS for a long time, Abis interface fault, equipment fault, and forced handover.
When a call drop occurs on the TCH, the counter, Call Drops on TCH(Uplink and Downlink FER), is incremented by one if
M3030G:Call Drops on TCH(Uplink and Downlink FER) the uplink FER is greater than "UL FER Threshold for TCH Call Drop", the downlink FER is greater than "DL FER Threshold
for TCH Call Drop", and the conditions for measuring Call Drops on TCH(Uplink Received Level), Call Drops on
TCH(Downlink Received Level), or Call Drops on TCH(Uplink and Downlink Received Level) are not met. This counter is not
measured if the EMR is not used.

Drop Call Count Breakdown
Huawei Drop Call Count Breakdown
The BSC measures call drops by cause, which facilitates call drop type identification and cause analysis.
Typically, most call drops in a network occur over radio interface (CM33C). These call drops are classified into call drops that occur in the
stable state (CM330) and call drops that occur during handover (CM331).
Other types of call drops are CM333 Abis link Failure and CM334 Equipment Failure. The loopback function is seldom used in the network,
therefore, loopback call drops (CM397 & CM385) seldom occur.
