A 30.0 Sorbitol (as 70% solution)

B 10.0 Glycerin
B 1.9 Xanthan gum (food or cosmetic grade)

C 10.0 Charcoal – cosmetic grade

D 2.0 Sodium cocoyl glutamate (e.g. Hostapon CCG as 33% solution)


D 2.0 Salinatural MIN (Salicylates & Chemicals)
D 0.05 Mixed tocopherols
E q.s. pH adjuster

1. Combine phase A.
2. Combine phase B to form a slurry. Make sure slurry is really smooth before continuing.
METHOD

3. Add phase B to phase A slowly while stirring under medium shear. Stir until smooth
viscous gel forms.
4. Add phase C slowly to incorporate the charcoal powder. Once the powder is wetted, stir
under medium shear to ensure homogenous distribution before continuing.
5. Add phase D and stir under low shear until homogenous.
6. Check/adjust final pH to 6.8 – 7.3.
