TOPIC 5

Part III: Let Us Act (Activity)

Becoming like Jesus

1.Recall a time when you believed God had chosen you for a unique role (through your

parents, school authorities, elders, or siblings). The mission was challenging, but it was

completed effectively (for example, participating in a quiz bee or sport activities or caring

for a sick sibling, among other things). Remember the learnings and reflections that

occurred after that. Write your narrative in a piece.

Answer: During one of my final semesters, a challenging situation unfolded as a multitude of

performance tasks and projects began accumulating. As these assignments piled up, additional factors
started to impact my ability to perform well on these tasks. Suddenly, I fell ill and developed a fever,
adding another layer of complexity to the already demanding situation. To make matters worse, some
members of our project teams weren't as cooperative as I had hoped, ended up with me doing most of
the work but I somehow managed to finished it all in time.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of always being prepared for the
unexpected. I realized that I must never let my guard down, especially when various factors beyond my
control can influence my performance on important tasks. This period of difficulty made me more
resilient and better equipped to handle similar challenges in the future.

2.Do you believe that fulfilling that unique role is a way of becoming like Jesus? Explain

Answer: Yes, I believe this experience does reflect a trait associated with Jesus, which is discipline.
Similar to Jesus' unwavering dedication to his teachings and principles, I found myself persevering
through a challenging period of academic and health-related adversity. This situation demanded a high
level of discipline and commitment on my part. Much like Jesus stayed true to his moral teachings, I
remained committed to completing my tasks despite the hurdles I faced.3.How do you encourage other
people to imitate Jesus.

3.How do you encourage other people to imitate Jesus?

Answer: I try to be a good example and show kindness, understanding, and forgiveness, just like Jesus
did. I tell people about his stories and teachings from the Bible, and I explain why it's important to be
kind, help others, and not judge them. I also create a community where people can learn and support
each other, hoping to inspire them to follow Jesus' example of being loving and helpful to others and
growing spiritually.
