EXERCISES OBJECTIVES:

After finishing the exercise, trainee will be able to:

- Be familiar with the simulator: how to use the key board at pilot positions to carry out
controller’s instructions as well as to know the information displayed on the
controller’s radar scope.
- Get used to microphone operating techniques.
- Use standard procedure and phraseology.
- Identify aircraft inder control.
- Mark strips ang manage the flight progress board in the correct way.
- Practise vectoring aircraft in the TUNNEL to be familiar with heading.

EXERCISES OBJECTIVES:

After finishing the exercise, trainee will be able to:

- Apply Identification methods.


- Apply radar vectoring to enable fast aircraft overtake slow aircraft.
- Be familiar with the layout of the TMA: the sites of navigation aids, exit fixes, SID for each exit
fix.
- Co-ordinate with other ATC units (TWR, ACC) and other ATC units to control departing
aircraft.
- Use right phraseologie in communiaction with pilots and in co-ordination with other ATC units.
- Mark strips ang manage the flight progress board in the correct way.
- Use the functional keys on the keyboard of simulator.
