Expectation of BSA camp questions.

1- what are the four stages of scouts ?

-The four stages of scouts are:-1- cub scout . 2- boy scout . 3- senior scout .
4- rovers scout .

2- what is the name of your scout troop , tell me about it ?

- the name is olives branches team .
- it is great team , consist of boys and girls , they love the scout , every one
of them is active, we do a general services in our country such as visiting
orphans and who live alone also we make scout camps and we are sharing
at any events will benefit our country .

3- what was the last scout activity you took part in , what was
your mission ?
- it was a scout camp in asuit city in upper Egypt its name was brown sea
1907 like the first camp of the scouts.
- my mission was a troop leader ,

4- speak about yourself , your personal abilities .

5- what are activities you do inside your scout troop ?

-we do scout camps, training, meetings, and teach how to to be responsible
by giving responsibilities and specific tasks, general services in our country
and sharing at any event will benefit our country .

6- what is the scout association you belong to in Egypt ?

- Egyptian boy scout association pioneer scout troop .

7- what are the advantages of being a scout ?

-the advantages of being scout are . I can learn new things, learn how to
work in groups , how to be responsible and learn the scout law (
trustworthy, loyal , helpful , friendly , kind , obedient , cheerful , thrifty , clean
, courteous and brave ) .

8- introduce your self ?

-first of all I would like to thank you for giving me this chance to be with you
and introduce my self that’s a great honor for me .my name is john gaber
Mikhail wasef I am twenty three years old , studying faculty of arts
department of English , live in el minia with my father , mother and young
sister .i am a rover scout troop master , belonging to olives branches team
scout group and I am interesting in reading and gain new experiences .
finally I hope to be selected . that’s all .

9- why would you like to participate in this camp or jamboree ?

-at first I would participate because it’s a great honor to present my country
in such an event and give a good example for Egyptians. also I’d like to
make friends and gain new culture, experiences and skills and I’d like to see
more about other countries .

10- what is your position in your troop , and what are your
respsibilities ?
- my position is Rover scout troop master .
- I take a leading role in planning and achieving meeting and activities of my
troop to make it the best , I always encourage the members and help them
to complete their requirements and I represent my troop at any scout’s
event .
11- how can you introduce your country in this jamboree ?
- I can proudly introduce my country by giving a good example in my
behaviour according to the scout law and to be obedient to my leaders, I
can speak with others scout about my country , about the variable cultures
in Egypt , about our great history , about the ancient Egyptians , the
pyramids and the sphinx , Islamic and Coptic civilization .also I can take
photos to the most beautiful places in Egypt like ( luxor , aswan , sharm
sheikh ) and show them to all scouts there , I can exchange souvenirs that
represent the great civilization of Egypt and I can make a booklet that
represent the great history of Egypt .

12- what is the jamboree ?

- jamboree is the biggest international scout gathering .

13- who is the founder of the scout movement , when and

where was the first scout camp ?
- the founder of the scout movement is the lord baden powel in 1907 .
- the first scout camp was in brownsea island in 1908 .
