organize
farewell
party
First of all, / Firstly, / To begin with, I think it is essential to do some
research on the country that you are moving to. This can be done by looking
A up for information from websites, blogs, or joining an online forum. (HOW?)
This is important so you can prepare yourself well for what to expect when
moving to another country. Don’t you agree?

Yes, I agree with you and I think you need to save some money. You can’t
B move to another country if you don’t have enough money set aside for living
expenses (WHY?) and I don’t think that anyone would disagree with this idea.
It’s true. Renewing your passport is also important to avoid any problems with
A immigrations authorities. What are your thoughts about the point on having
a farewell party?
I believe that organising a farewell party is not really important unless you
B have decided to live there for the rest of your life. (WHY?) Thus, I disagree with
this idea. Do you agree?
I disagree with your opinion. I think it is not wrong to have a farewell party to
A meet their family members and friends for the last time before going abroad for
years.

Although I understand your point, but still to me, it is not an important thing.
B What do you think about the next point?

I don’t think selling all that we own is a wise move because you might need
them one day or when you are returning to your hometown. You can still keep
A your properties by asking your family members or trusted friends to help you
look after them. (HOW?) Now, what about the last point on the list? Is that
something you would agree on?

From my point of view, getting a medical check-up done before moving to

another country is a must. This is to ensure you are healthy enough to travel
B and also to avoid any medical issues (WHY?) which might be costly once you
are living in another country.
Group task (the best...)

02 Now you have a minute to decide together which is the best (/main /most)
tip / way / reason / advantage before moving abroad?

In my opinion, / I think the best tip before moving abroad is to save some
money. It is crucial to have enough money especially when you are living in
A another country. There might be additional costs other than the living
expenses. What about you?

Yes, I agree with your idea but for me, the most important tip that you need
before moving abroad is to do research about the country first. You need to
B prepare not only things to bring there but also need to be prepared mentally.
Knowing what to expect is important so you can get through anything.
Your opinion / additional question
