E: Hey! Long time no see! How have you been?

C: I’ve been doing pretty well, thanks for asking. It’s so good to see you!

E: It’s great to see you too! What are you doing?

C: I’m going to buy a new cellphone, because I broke the last.

E: Really! I’m going to buy a new laptop, because I need to buy it for a business trip.

C: Wow! We can go to the gadget shop together.

E: That’s right!

C: What do you thing about laptops?

E: In my opinion a laptop is more practical than a computer. We can do many things with

laptops. It´s the most important devices for students too.

C: Yes, I see what you mean. But I believe that the most important device for everybody is

the smartphone. It is smaller and cheaper than a laptop, and you can use it anywhere.

E: Personally, I prefer a laptop for working, because is more useful.

C: You could be right but a smartphone is more practical for the daily life.

E: Well, I’m not too sure about that, because we can use other devices like smart watches.

C: Maybe, technology advances very fast.

E: I’d love to continue this conversation, but I gotta go now, we can see you later.
