Every kid finds relatable the absolutely exasperating experience of lengthy commercials
interrupting their favorite animation series, which literally feels like watching the paint dry. Back in my
childhood, finding an advertisement to keep me engrossed enough to not torture the remote in hopes of
ridding myself of this tedious experience seemed impossible, until I stumbled upon the Dalini shampoo
commercial.

The script is meticulously crafted, employing a cover of a children song with an unsophisticated
and persuasive vocabulary, which paints a picture of the shampoo’s benefits and entices the audience
with assurance of a perfectly safe and effective product for children’s cleanliness and well-being.
Furthermore, the soundtrack was accompanied by the voice of a little girl, which cleverly conveyed the
target recipients.

Visually, having used animations of ducklings playfully dabbling and swimming through the water
with the shampoo container and a little girl joyfully observing, the director precisely evoked the
ebullience of children delighting in a bubble bath without encountering any inconveniences from
harmful ingredients, for example eye-redness. Additionally, this sophisticated use of imagery elevates
the advertisement beyond a mere product showcase, creating a deeper connection with the audience.
Seldom can there be found such amazing animations from older Romanian publicity.

Were I to sum up the overall eminence of this product in the publicity industry in a word, I would
certainly describe it as a masterpiece, because it communicates the public the importance of children’s
safety and the necessity to explore and rejoice in the simple things in life.

Thence, how much influence do advertisements have on us? Accompanied with a gripping
narrative, great linguistic backing, and a catchy soundtrack, ads can influence our purchases, by
obtaining higher selling points. It’s uniqueness and entertainment that viewers seek, because should the
endeavor to promote the product be greater, respectively the expectation of the quality will be higher.
