Narrative Report on Reading Intervention in

Filipino and English Subject

The more children read, the more new words they learn. As they absorb these new
words, they are able to define them based on the context of the material. Children
can also learn about sentence structure through reading, which can help improve
their writing skills.
Our School Conducted our 1st day of reading intervention in English and Filipino
subject on October 14 2022 at 2:00 pm – 3:00 in Baras Pinugay Elementary School
One Ynares Annex with the Reading Coordinator Judy Ann Denusta Grade 3
teacher Filipino Reading Coordinator together with the English Coordinator Maam
Pearly Ballaran a grade 1 teacher , before we conduct the reading intervention the
advisers of every students identify the reading level of the students for us to focus
the needs of every learner.
The intervention Run for one hour 30 minutes per subject and our first batch are the
struggling Readers from different grades we focus on the Identifying the Letters and
Sound of each letter as our first step.
