Definition : - An imperative sentence is a sentence that expresses a direct command,
request, invitations, warning, or instruction. Imperative sentences do not have a subject;
instead, a directive is given to an implied second person .

परिभाषा :- आज्ञासूचक वाक्य (Imperative Sentences) वो होते हैं जिनकी मदद से हम या तो ककसी को कोर्इ
आदेश देते हैं, सलाह देते हैं या किि ककसी से कोई अनुिोध किते हैं। ” अगि मैं आपसे कहूँ कक “मुझे पैन दो”, तो या तो मैं
आपको आदेश दे िहा हूँ। या किि ऐसा भी हो सकता है कक मैं आपसे अनुिोध या जवनती कि िहा हूँ। Imperative
Sentence (आज्ञा सूचक वाक्य) के अंत में किो, िाओ, आओ, पढ़ो, किना, आना, ना, नी, ने आकद शब्द आते है |

Example. वहा िाओ कृ पया वहा िाये

Go there. Please go there.

Do not go there. Please do not go there.

1. वह मुझ पि छोड़ दो Leave it to me.

2. मेिी ककताबे िहने दो Leave my books alone.
3. जिड़की बंद किो Close the window.
4. यह कचिा िें क दो Throw away this rubbish.
5. के क के दो टुकड़े किो Cut the cake in half.
6. किि से यहाूँ मत आना Don’t come here again.
7. मुझे झूठी बाते मत बताओ Don’t tell me lies.
8. मेिी चचंता मत किो Don’t worry about me.
9. कभी ककसी पि हूँसना नही Never laugh at anyone.
10. िास्ता पाि किने से पहले दोनों औि देिो Look both ways before crossing the road.
11. तुम्हािी सार्ककल दीवाि से लगाकि िड़ी किो Stand your bicycle against the wall.
12. उन तािो को हाथ मत लगाओ Don’t touch those wires.
13. घास पि मत बैठो Don’t sit on the grass.
14. तुम्हािा गुस्सा मुझ पि मत जनकालो Don’t take your anger out on me.
15. वह पुिाना जवषय अब मत जनकालो Don’t bring up that old subject now.
16. वे कीचड़ भिे िुते अंदि मत लाओ Don’t bring those muddy boots inside.
17. ककताब बंद किो औि मेिी सुनो Close the book and listen to me.
18. कृ पया प्रबन्धक के पास आवेदन किे Please apply to the manager.
19. कृ पया मेिी सहायता किे Please don’t help me.

35. कभी ककसी को गाली मत दो । Never abuse anyone.
