You are asking about one of the most reviewed scopes of all time (in its
various incarnations). Do a quick internet search for the specific scope. To
sum it up . . . good scope. Usually good optics. You get much more than
one has the right to expect for the cost.

Earlier this summer I was in the market for a 10" dob and considered (without much
experience with equipment for astronomy)) several of the scopes of that size. I ended up
ordering one from Dennis Steel @DobStuff and passed on the Orion and the Skywatcher.
I've been hearing good things though about GSO in general. The DobStuff turned out to
be well built, and as far as I can tell from being a relative newbie with scopes, works very
well with the optics.

Honestly:

There are so many of these around , there is so much written about them, there is so much
experience with them, a definitive review would not be possible. It would have to be a
journal..

I have had my 10 inch GSO Dob for 15 years. It's never been my "best" scope or my biggest
scope but it's been a very good scope that has provided me many memorable views.

The two speed focuser is very nice and handles heavy eyepieces without an issue . The
RACI finder is a good one and optically mine has been a good one. It's a keeper.

Jon

I wanted to know how it would show me things like Jupiter Saturn etc.

More than your naked eyes could ever possibly show you.

It will depend a lot on your seeing conditions, but you should be able to easily make out
the Cassini division in Saturn's rings, the Great Red Spot on Jupiter (when it is facing us),
at least two cloud bands on Jupiter and even some of the swirls in the cloud bands.

Here's some videos through my Meade 10" Lightbridge -

Jupiter: https://youtu.be/JWTNzUKZPgY

Saturn: https://youtu.be/p1mjFrHqLkI

Mars: https://youtu.be/Sxf7bsQDXG0

They won't appear as big as in these videos because the videos were cropped, but they will
very likely have quite a bit more detail, the videos just don't capture as much detail as you
can see with your eyes.

On the rare nights of good seeing around here I have seen some detail inside the cloud
bands of Jupiter with the GRS really standing out, ice caps on mars, and a clear Cassini
division on Saturn. One exceptionally rare night when i could really push magnification (I
can almost never go over 200x) Jupiter was almost photogenic. If you are into dso's you
should see a huge improvement vs your 130eq. My GSO 10" was my first scope. I've
bought and sold other scopes since then but the z10 has been a mainstay for me thus far.
It has a great blend of capability/user friendliness and I find beauty in its simplicity vs
some other scope designs I've tried.
