    • Candidates seeking RUAS-JRF should apply for the Call after completing the
    Admissions Process
    • Presentation Guidelines to Applicants can be shared by the respective Department
    well in advance
    • Entrance Exam shall comprise 60 Questions for 60 Minutes of Duration. In particular,
    30 Marks shall comprise of General Questions (Nonverbal Reasoning, Logical
    Deduction, Mental Ability, Verbal Ability) and 30 Marks shall be Domain/Department

    Proposed Selection Procedure for 2023 Batch Onwards

    Evaluation has 2 components:


    1. Written Exam
    2. Presentation and Personal Interview
    1. Written Exam
    3. Entrance Exam comprise of 60 Multiple Choice Questions
    A. 30 Marks comprise of General Questions
    1. Nonverbal Reasoning
    2. Logical Deduction
    3. Mental Ability
    4. Verbal Ability
    • 30 Marks shall be Subject/Department/Domain Specific
    B. 1 Hour Duration

    1. Presentation and Personal Interview


    The applicant should make a 15 minutes presentation on the ‘Specific Topic of
    Research’ to the panel which will be followed by a Personal Interview (15 minutes). The
    guidelines of presentation maybe as follows:
    A. Motivation for the Work
    B. Introduction on the Research Topic
    C. Current Issues and Trends
    D. How are they being addressed in Literature
    E. Proposed Work or Contribution Planned
    F. Significance of the proposed Research

    The Applicant may plan the presentation for 15 minutes and accordingly plan the
    number of slides. In summary, 30 Minutes per Applicant shall be spent by the
    Admissions and Selection Committee.
