DEAD LOADS COMPUTATION:

Roof

• Deck, metal 18 gage = 0.14 kPa

• Suspended steel channel system = 0.10 kPa

• Gypsum board as ceiling = 0.008 kPa

• Electrical and plumbing materials = 0.18 kPa

Total = 0.14+0.008+0.10+0.18=0.428 kPa

• Beam, 300 mm x 550 mm, reinforced concrete

= 0.300(0.550)(23.6 kNm3)=3.894 kNm

3rd Floor

a. Slab

• 150 mm stone concrete fill = 0.023 kPa(150mm)=3.45 kPa

• Ceramic tile on 13 mm mortar bed = 0.77 kPa

• Gypsum board as ceiling = 0.008 kPa

• Electrical and plumbing materials = 0.18 kPa

Total = 4.408 kPa

b. Beams

• 300 mm x 550 mm, reinforced concrete

=0.300(0.550)(23.6 kNm3)=3.894 kNm

c. Columns

• 300 mm x 300 mm reinforced concrete, 3.5 m high

=(0.300)(0.300)(3.5)(23.6kNm3)=7.434 kN

d. Walls

3rd floor

• Floor Load

Basic Floor Area = 1.9 kPa

Exterior Balconies = 2.9 kPa

Total = 1.9 + 2.9 = 4.8 kPa

2nd Floor

• Floor Load
