ESBECANS TRIBUTE TO LATE ISAAC CLEMENT ASAMOAH (AKA OLUGLU)

What a loving and lively school mate you were. We could bless your name for a lot of things
you offered but amongst the many wonderful things. We will always mention how selfless
and dedicated you to all of us back in ESBEC 22, CUBA. Where we all studied together.

“OLUGLU TAI” as we affectionately called him was one of the 124 students who left the
shores of Ghana on 20th August, 1986 to study in Cuba under a work and study program
which was introduced by the late president Jerry John Rawlings to train brilliant but needy
Ghanaian students.

Kwadwo Annor, was in Group 2 of the 86 year and member of Dorm H. He quickly adapted
to the system upon arrival and became a member of the voluntary group that helped in
maintaining our environment clean. He also assisted the clinic staff and could even give
injections to students who fell ill.

After the completion of our 4- year work and study program at Kwame Nkrumah Memorial
School, ESBEC 22 on the isle of youth, Isaac clement Asamoah decided to pursue Agric
Mechanization course at San Nicholas, Habana where he came out with HND certificate. In
1993, he returned to mother Ghana to serve as a responsible citizen.

He was subsequently posted to Amanteng Secondary School to do his national service. He

was retained after the service to continue teaching as a biology teacher for some years.

He travelled to India to pursue his 1st and 2nd degrees in banking and insurance. When he
returned from India, he was employed by DBS industries at Kwamo as the General Manager.
After 3 years in DBS, he decided to work on his own, so he established IC&E Savings and
Loans at Aboabo in Kumasi. He was also into Building and Construction Consultancy.

Oluglu Tai fell sick for sometime but he came back to life and decided to go for another
course in diabetic counseling in India. He decided to establish his own Diabetic Counseling
Consultancy after returning from India. He had almost finished setting up, when the
unexpected happened on July 2nd, 2023 after just 2 days of sickness.

We know you are with the Lord and your eternal rest is assured.
