NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM The trade school re-open on September 6, 1945.

(NSTP) June 8, 1948 a course dressmaking was opened.

- It mandates that all tertiary level students
will take NSTP subject.
- Designed to developed the youth physical,
moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-
being and promote defense preparedness
- It was signed into law on January 23, 2002
- Makes the youth educated towards nation-
building

with an aim to promote civic consciousness.

- ROTC- Reserve Officers Training Corp.
- LTS- Literacy Training Service
- CWTS- Civic Welfare Training Service

On May 8, 1953 the NETS was converted into
Central Luzon School of Arts and Trades (CLSAT)
by Republic Act No. 845.
CLSAT converted into the Central Luzon
Polytechnic College (CLPC) by virtue of Republic
Act No. 3998 which was signed on June 18, 1964
by then President Diosdado Macapagal.
First President Gemiliano C. Calling he converted
into a specialized university. The NEUST by virtue
of Republic Act No. 8612
Second President is Dr. Hilario C. Ortiz
Third President is Dr. Feliciana P. Jacoba she is the
first woman President of the University.
