TEXT 1 A CASE AGAINST THE CLOCK
TICK-TOCK: TIME’S RUNNIN’ OUT

Try to remember the elementary drama of you and your classmates arguing whether
where does clockwise and counterclockwise navigate. It's quite a frustration of our doubts
that where is the true realization beyond the confusion. The author Mr. Crabbe pointed in
his story about the inescapable creeps of the ever-continuous time ticking ‘till the end. So,
it’s a matter of ‘time’ itself that will consume you, and each one of us that tries to beat it.

Crabbe expresses his dismay in managing time, since even though whatever we do and
observe to manage time, it often results in more casualties adding up in the existing
problem. Moreover, it targets most of the population, especially those who are time-
conscious and always rely on themselves to follow some tasks to do. In a way of an
informative to persuasive-editorial, the author convinces the audience, especially the
students, office workers, and the people behind everything that puts things in its proper
order in the society that we try to fit in.

It made the audience realize that time isn’t just a cycle or series that revolves around a
certain standard way, because it varies on the person and towards the perception,
especially to the intention of it.

The message gave a massive thought of which could interfere with our own driven
thoughts, resulting in questioning our own beliefs and it is quite ambitious of him to give us
doubts about time that we are awfully aware of. But in a twisted manner, he successfully
bonded us into a woven fabric that a free flow of measures may still result in something
being intended with its living purpose.

He must have been clear of the heavy words that he released but in usage of jargony
language, managed to get through even with the slightest mind that may not adore to
understand the concept.
Well, time’s running out and it's irreversible, so why not twist it? That perceived the
readers to be more questionable and be more reasonable about the proper usage of self-
time.

It is clearly visible that Mr. Crabbe denotes the disposition of time management and by
placing factual observation and relatable situations, the context caged the audiences even
if some beliefs were challenged. Society would react to this as a bias of observant truth
due to the placement of realistic relatable context.

The brittle feelings of the audience appealed much higher in bagging information of the
not-so-bad behavior of one’s time effectiveness. And through his clean chip of derived
statistics from the past up to the future, it strengthened the stand.

As the editorial closes up, he gave path to the common belief and gave an opinion and
self-belief that management of time should not be in a patterned manner but rather in a
self-conceived way that we should be comfortable of.

The message indeed is clearly taken up that Crabble gave a powerful analysis of time.
And as he made the people wonder, he effectively entered into the thoughts and
imagination of the people.

It's either you finish it on time, or the time finishes you!

TEXT 2 VIDEO TALK

SPEAK-SQUEAK: THE BARRIER BREAKER

‘Is there any 21st century skills more important than being able to sustain coherent,
confident conversation’. Posed to trigger the thundering minds of the young learners if they
fully received the purpose of having a communication as an essential part of our life.

Commemorating the day, the teacher taught us about the ‘common ground’ in an
effective purposive communication, it challenged the communicators to dig deeper beyond
the treasure chest of the origin of where is the root of it all. Celeste Headlee made a
precise and a striking idea which scrabbled the mind of the conscious.

The change shows how is usual conversation evolve through bits of minor and
shallow conversation to huge deals of issues.

After giving advantages of today’s technology in everyday conversation, she then

dropped statistics which supported her statement that is arguable but after having that
sharing, she ended it with no crumbs. The point being suggest that listening and speaking
must be a balanced force, and an imbalance may result to crash of communication error
and disbelief.

Pointing out ten ways, her diverse audience may seem challenging but due to the
common belief in every learned individual, she seems to captivate her people with her
charm, calm aura. The conveyer explained how did these ten factors helped people to
achieve good conversation.

Her points were on the spot that left people with no curiosity. Her answers are
precise as her explanation, which kept the audience be more vigilant of every word she
says.

The type of her delivery was informative-descriptive impromptu. Basic rules include
never multitasking, don’t pontificate, use open-ended conversation, go with the flow, saying
you don’t know when you don’t know. These first five were subjected and was supported
by the statements of some of the well-known philosophers and authors.
Her credibility relies on the quotation bested by these people who are the
manifestation of a good society with a mission to achieve a good conversation. In a manner
of entertaining the needs of her audience, by releasing these statements, it boosted her
adrenaline to talk more, discuss more, and to listen more.

Not equating experiences with others, trying not to repeat self, staying out of the
weeds, listening, and be brief are her last five manifestation of a good communication
between a governed society.

The logical sequence of her lecture focused more on the intention of the message,
LISTENING. So, its effective since the audience listened without feeling any grief of
asking much because all of these are given already.

Much more was given; the purpose of listening was fulfilled. And the speak ended
with the time the audience didn’t expect it. So, it gave time to the receivers to think about
what to do to really achieve a good, quality conversation.

Although she didn’t much discuss more about how communication works in both
parties particularly speaking, it still managed to balance it out while defending the other
side.

Listening will give you the stamina and opportunity to hear sides, pick the
less evil, and differentiate who relies on truth, justice and excellence
