CHAPTER FOUR

Impact of the Internship

Industrial attachment or industrial training is a footstep to combine theoretical knowledge with
practical knowledge. That is why it is a mandatory part of industrial type education because it
shows the real scenario of industry or job life.I consider myself lucky for getting the opportunity
to do my attachment from a well-knowned company Walton Hi Tech industries Ltd.From the
Industrial attachment I have learned a lot of things. In this corporate sector there are huge rules
and regulations to survive. At the outset once have to be formal, enduring, and well mannered. I
maintained all these things when I was in the factory. I had to maintain the proper protective
equipment safety measures before entering the factory.

Taposh Kumar Majumder, R&I Head, received me in the factory then he was given me
assistance and a short briefing before going to the production line. After that he introduced me to
the whole factory step by step, and instructed me not to touch and capture any products or
machineries. I was listening carefully to his speech, never touched any products or machineries
and asked him what I needed to know. I never talked anything with the employees or workers
because the production process was going on and it is hampered for the production.

I learned about the raw materials, actual running conditions of machines, the production
capability, works technologists and administration. I also gained the real field experience. As I
had to maintain the rules and regulations, the formal dress code and all other protective
equipment in the industry, I think it would help me in future professional Career.

The activities like formal dress, how to talk with superior are correlated with my classroom
knowledge which i learnt from my professional development seminar classes. Molding machine
is correlated with my workshop sessional respectively.

This was the first industrial visit of my academic life through this visit I had the opportunity to
see how the industrial production system run.
