Criterion B: Planning for Performance

Develop and execute a 6-week plan to improve two chosen components of physical fitness. Choose
two components from Cardio vascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, body
composition and Flexibility to improve over the next 6 weeks.

Task Description:

Component Selection (Week 1):

Choose two components from Cardio vascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance,
body composition and Flexibility to improve over the next 6 weeks.

Planning and Execution (Weeks 1-7):

Develop a detailed 6-week plan for each chosen component, specifying exercises, frequency, and
duration.

Implement the plan consistently over the 6-week period, recording progress and activities
undertaken.

Task Specific Rubrics


1-2: Unclear selection, plans lack detail and consistency and minimal reflection.

3-4: Identified components with limited detail, plans somewhat detailed but inconsistent; limited
reflection on progress.

5-6: Clear selection with some explanation; plans detailed but may lack consistency; adequate
reflection on progress and challenges.

7-8: Clear, well-explained selection, detailed and consistent plans, thorough reflection on progress,
challenges and adaptations made.
