LESSON PLAN IN GRADE 11 BASIC CALCULUS

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of the basic concepts of limit and
continuity of a function.

Performance Standard: The learner shall be able to formulate and solve accurately real-life
problems involving continuity of functions.

I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
- Determine whether a function is continuous on an interval or not.

D. Application: Work by Pair!

Find out if the following are continuous at x = a.

Note: The teacher will check the answer of the student as they reported their work.
Rubrics:
3points – correct answer and well presented solution (No errors)
1 point – attempted to answer (with minor errors)
The students’ proficiency level and correct response will be gathered.
