VISITOR SAFETY INDUCTION

Welcome to the Sharjah Waterfront City Project

These rules are for YOUR safety and should be adhered to make your visit as safe as possible.

 Strict Personal protective equipment’s (PPE) are in force on this site, if you leave the
office for the Site, you are required to wear a hardhat/ Hi-Visibility Jacket / Safety
Shoes/ Eye goggle .

 Please bear in mind that the site observes a ‘NO SMOKING POLICY’. Smoking if allowed
will be in a designated area.

 Visitors must be accompanied by a member of site staff at all times.

 Designated pedestrian walk ways shall be use and no one allow to walk on plant
/equipment’s drive way.

 The sea area is a restricted zone. Do not go near that area.

 The Main hazards of this site are Deep excavations, treading on nails, plant and
Machinery operation, Lifting Activity and tripping and falling from heights.

 Safety Signs and/or other warning messages should be respected and barricades with
warning tapes or plastic barriers must not be crossed under any circumstance.

 Extreme care MUST be taken if you have loose clothing (Scarf’s, Neck Tie, long hair etc.)
when walking on site.

 In case of EMERGENCY muster at the Assembly point in front of the Flora Boring Site
Office and wait for Instructions.
