The table graph represents the proportion of revenue, which grown-ups and minors spend on four

various stuff in the United Kingdom in 1998.

Overall, there were similar tendencies among adults and children, meaning that, food was the most
popular thing that were purchased by formers, whilst music was by far the most favored item for latters
in this regard.

First looking at adults, they paid out predominantly for nourishment. While male grown-ups spent the
14% percent of their earnings on food, this figure almost tripled for female ones (at 39%). It was
followed by electronic devices, which was ten times as much as for men, compared to women, 10% and
1%, respectively. Further, the proportion of music was as much as one-another for all (at 5%). Finally,
the least popular items, which were purchased by grown-ups, men and women, was videos at 1%, 2%
and 0.5%, accordingly.

As for children, they expended on music most of all, the portions for boys and girls, registered 38% and
40%, respectively. It was followed by electronic devices (at 23%) and videos (at 18% and 17%) for
children and boys, girls, respectively. While children and boys (at 10% and 9%, accordingly) spent the
least percent of their revenues on food, albeit it was digital devices for girls (at 5%).
