Come and stand amazed, you people,

See how God is reconciled!

See his plans of love accomplished,
See his gift, this newborn child.
See the Mighty, weak and tender,
See the Word who now is mute.
See the Sovereign without splendor,
See the Fullness destitute
See how humankind received him;
See him wrapped in swaddling bands,
Who as Lord of all creation
Rules the wind by his commands.
See him lying in a manger
Without sign of reasoning;
Word of God to esh surrendered,
He is wisdom's crown, our King.

O Lord Jesus, God incarnate,
Who assumed this humble form,
Counsel me and let my wishes
To your perfect will conform.
Light of life, dispel my darkness,
Let your frailty strengthen me;
Let your meekness give me boldness,
Let your burden set me free;
O Emmanuel, my savior
Let your death be life for me.

Glory be to God on high
Let peace on earth descend
God comes down before our eyes
To Bethlehem
God invisible appears
Endless ages wrapped in years
He has come who cannot change
And Jesus is His name
Emptied of His majesty
He comes in human form
Being’s source begins to be
And God is born
All our griefs He’ll gladly share
All our sins He’ll fully bear
He will cover our disgrace
And su er in our place
ff
Let the joyful news ring out
The Prince of Peace proclaim
Lift your heart and voice to shout
Immanuel’s name
God has kept His promises
What a work of grace this is
Son of Mary, chosen One
The Lamb of God has come
Hosanna, hosanna,
the Lamb of God has come.
Hosanna, hosanna,
He is the promised One.

(Repeat)
Glory be to God on high
Let peace on earth descend
God comes down before our eyes
To Bethlehem
Glory Be to God

Long years ago,
on a deep winter night
High in the heavens,
a star shone bright
While in a manger,
a wee Baby lay
Sweetly asleep,
on a bed of hay
This, this is Christ, the King
whom shepherds guard
and angels sing
Jesus the Lord,
was that Baby so small
laid down to sleep in a humble stall
Then came the star
and it stood overhead,
shedding its light
‘round His little bed.
Dear Baby Jesus,
how tiny Thou art,
I’ll make a place for Thee in my heart
and when the stars
in the heavens I see,
ever and always I think of Thee
I think of Thee
Ever and always I think of Thee

O come, all you unfaithful
Come, weak and unstable
Come, know you are not alone
O come, barren and waiting ones
Weary of praying,
Come, see what your God has done
Christ is born, Christ is born
Christ is born for you
O come, bitter and broken
Come with fears unspoken
Come, taste of His perfect love
O come, guilty and hiding ones
There is no need to run
See what your God has done
Christ is born, Christ is born
Christ is born for you
He’s the Lamb who was given
Slain for our pardon
His promise is peace
For those who believe
He’s the Lamb who was given
Slain for our pardon
His promise is peace
For those who believe
So come, though you have nothing
Come, He is the o ering
Come, see what your God has done

Christ is born, Christ is born
Christ is born for you
Christ is born, Christ is born
Christ is born for you

The rst Noel
the angel did say,
Was to certain
poor shepherds
in elds as they lay;
In elds where they
lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter’s night
that was so deep.

They looked up
and saw a star
Shining in the east,
beyond them far,
And to the earth
it gave a great light,
And so it continued
both day and night.

Born is the King of Israel.
Then let us all
with one accord
sing praises to our
heavenly Lord
who hath made heav’n
and earth of naught,
And with His blood
mankind hath bought.

Born is the King of Israel.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel.
Born is the King of Israel.

In the beginning was the Word
The Father’s pre-incarnate Son
Very God of very God
With the Spirit, three-in-one
The uncreated Word breathed out
The vast expanse of time and space
And by the word of His great pow’r
He holds the universe in place
The Word came down to dwell on earth
Embracing true humanity
Conceived by God in human birth
Behold divine humility
He grew in favor and in skill
In all ways tempted, without sin
Submitted to the Father’s will
To give His life for sinful men
The savior king was cruci ed
To bear the Father’s righteous wrath
That all things would be reconciled
To conquer Satan, sin, and death

fi
The resurrected Son of Man
Ascended up to Heaven again
And now enthroned at God’s right hand
He’s coming back to judge all men
You see our hearts and know our souls
Our lives laid bare before You now
For all our sins You paid in full
O church, declare His great renown!
For what have we but dust and bones
To o er Him who formed the earth?
We stood condemned but Christ atoned
O church proclaim His matchless worth!
