Furthermore, good communication improves workplace engagement by giving every

employee a voice. When both parties, the sender, and receiver, participate in the process,

complete contact occurs (Mikkola 150). Employees allow each other to express their concerns

and views due to effective communication. All parties participate in the communication process,

improving their relationship, through active listening and appropriate signals, among other

things.
