HKBU Library stacks

1. Choose at least one key word or phrase, and search the HKBU Library catalogue. Find a book
which is in HKBU Library stacks (“Book 1”). Get the book and borrow it.
a. List the bibliographic information of that book (Book 1).

b. Look through the bibliography of the book that you have borrowed. From this book’s
bibliography, list at least two more books or articles relevant to your topic.

2. While in the library, look at the books on the shelf next to or near the book you are borrowing.
Choose one related to your topic, and borrow it. (“Book 2”) List the bibliographic information of
that book.

3. From this book (Book 2)’s bibliography, list bibliographic information of at least two more books
or articles relevant to your topic.

After completing the above, print two copies of this this single-sided, staple/clip it, and bring the two
copies to class next week (Week 5).
