8) Significance

This proposal is important to the PWD Community of Ormoc City specially to those who are needed of assistance when
they ae walking and hearing sounds at the same time.
To the Deaf and Visual Impairment Person
The main beneficiary of the said proposal this assistive device can help them aid while they are walking
on the streets and can hear sounds while walking. It is important that they will also feel what it is like to walk without
the help of others.
To the PWD Community
This proposal will be beneficial to the PWD community in guiding them doing basic things such as
walking and hearing something by the help of this device.

9) Objectives
The PWD Community needed our help in every aspect of doing things so that we come up of creating this
device in order to assist them.
The main objectives of the researchers are the following:
(a) To be able to do activities such as walking while hearing without the help of others
(b) To avoid accidents while doing the said activities
10) Methodology

The researchers will adopt the Luther’s model that was proposed by Luther in 2003 also known as Multimedia
Development Life Cycle (MDLC) This cycle is used particularly in designing Multimedia products whit proper quality for
learning process (Slutopo,2009).
