1. Scope
Manufacture, inspection, performance testing, supply and guarantee of Fluidized
Bed Dryer System and accessories as per specifications mentioned below. Scope
also includes packing in safe manner and transportation of packed parts to
purchaser’s site at Kalpakkam.

Bidders are to provide the complete assembly unit. Offers, which are partial, will
not be considered for evaluation. Based on descriptions / specifications of required
system explained in the following sections, every bidder shall submit the
following, failing which the offer will not be considered.

1.1 A drawing indicating major components of the system with complete

specifications of the components.

1.2 The cost of offer shall be all-inclusive, including packing and safe delivery at
Purchaser’s site.

1.3 Validity period of cost of the offer shall be specified which shall be at-least
three months from the date of opening of Tender.

2. Brief Description of System: Fluidized Bed Dryer System with all

accessorieswill be used to remove moisture from wet powder

3.1 Filters Bags should be reusable type with provision for cleaning of filter bags when
filter bags get chocked
3.2 Necessary safety provision should be provided in the system to ensure safe operation.
3.3 Material Test Certificate should be furnished by vendor.
3.4 List of customers to whom Fluidized Bed Dryer System has been supplied should be
given with contact details.
3.5 The essential spares for two year trouble free operation should be quoted separately.
3.6 Pre-dispatch inspection should be arranged in India.
3.7 Operation manual and electrical circuit diagrams should be given along with the
equipments.
3.8 The installation requirements at the client’s site should be clearly stated.

4. Inspection:

The Fluidized Bed Dryer System and the accessories are to be inspected &
cleared by the purchaser at supplier’s work shop before dispatch.

5. Packing and Transportation:

The Fluidized Bed Dryer System and the accessories shall be properly packed,
suitably crated and protected from damage during transit & storage at site and
during transportation from work site to purchaser’s site at Kalpakkam.

6. Guarantee:

Supplier shall guarantee that the equipment supplied by him shall be in

accordance with the approved specifications.

Supplier shall provide warrantee that the equipment is free from defects in
design, materials or workmanship. Warrantee shall cover a period of minimum 12
months from the date of satisfactory commissioning at site.

7. Bidder Qualification:

Offers from the bidder satisfying the following criteria will be technically
accepted
· The bidder shall have previous experience for manufacturing/supplying
of similar Fluidized Bed Dryers. The copy of Purchase Orders of
completed similar equipments within last 7 years shall be submitted with
proof of completion.
· Offers from manufacture will be preferred. However, incase of trader,
the bidder shall submit an undertaking from their Original Equipment
Manufacturer(OEM) together with the tender bid.
· The bidder must fill the required technical parameter of the product as
per paragraph- 3.9. Incomplete filling of technical parameters will
not be considered.
