 ALL FORCES ARE IN TONS AND MOMENTS IN TONS-METER. * Values in Green Color indicates Minimum value and in Red Color indicates maximum value.
DESIGN DATA:
1. COLUMN DIMENSION: 400X400 MM
2. COLUMN LENGTH: 4500 MM
3. CONCRETE GRADE: 35 MPA
4. REBAR GRADE: 420 MPA.
CONCLUSION:
1. The pattern of reinforcement should be carefully entered in ETABS FRAME REINFORCMENT INPUT DATA.
2. There is no difference in percentage reinforcement for pure axial load case.
3. Don’t just see the low and high percentages, also carefully see the number of bars as it may lead to smaller or larger
rebar diameter.
4. It is advisable to enter that reinforcement pattern in ETABS which you are going to provide in Column Schedule.
