Buildathon Guidelines
Important Dates Buildathon Video Requirements
• Videos must be no longer than 15 minutes in duration and uploaded on

FAQs
• Can I register as an Individual or do I need a team?
Teams of 3-7 people is required. Teams with less than 3 members are automatically disqualified. Individuals can register if you work in Business/Ops.

• Do I need to submit the idea during my registration?


Yes, the idea abstract needs to be submitted before the registrations closes.

• Can I participate if I don’t have a team to develop the solution or don’t have a business problem to solve?
Yes, business problems will be listed and open for teams to solve. Any development team can select any of the business problems.

• Will I be provided the necessary infrastructure/cloud/ IOT devices for implementing my idea?
Participants need to make the necessary arrangements for their infrastructure; this includes the necessary software.
Bringing IOT devices to the workplace will need to adhere to organizational security guidelines.
This can be included as part of the CBA while implementing the idea.

• Can contractors compete?


Contractors should check with their supervisor or the one financially responsible for their hours on whether they can compete.

• What is an enterprise-wide tool/solution/process?


Any solution which is scalable, configurable, and can be used by any other team will be termed as enterprise wide.

• Who is the “business” in a process idea?


Who or what will benefit from the process. It may or may not be the core business. It could be within the E&I organization.

• When do we use the concept templates on the portal?


The templates are used when your team moves to POC phase of the Buildathon.
