Subject: Request for Tax Exemption

Dear Sir/Madam,

This letter has reference to your letter number 101923681/M dated 26.06.2023.

I am writing to bring to your attention the completion of all necessary documentation and submission of
relevant proofs regarding my income tax for the tax years in question. I am an employee of the National
Water Supply and Drainage Board, and my sole source of income is the salary I receive from my
employer.

I would like to inform you that the National Water Supply and Drainage Board deducts income tax from
my salary in accordance with the prevailing tax laws. All necessary supporting documents, including
salary statements and the T10 form, have been duly submitted to the Income Tax Department. The
receipt of the details has been acknowledged by your department (See annexes). I have complied with
all legal obligations and have fulfilled my responsibilities as a taxpayer.

Considering the aforementioned circumstances and the fact that the income tax has already been
deducted from my salary, I kindly request the Income Department to eliminate the tax liability
associated with my income. I believe that my tax obligations have been met, and therefore, it would be
fair to consider granting me tax exemption for the relevant tax years.

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. If any additional information or documentation
is required, please let me know, and I will be happy to provide it. I trust that you will review my case
diligently and make a fair determination regarding my request for tax exemption.
