PERFORMANCE TASK #

COOKERY LABORATORY PLAN

NAME OF RECIPE: Ginataang Tilapia

TOOL & EQUIPMENTS USED:

Pan Knives Mixing Bowl
Pot Fork
Bowls Spoons
Chopping Board Plates

INGREDIENTS USED:
- Fish (Tilapia)
- Onions
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Pechay
- Coconut Milk
- Salt
- Pepper
PROCEDURES:

 1. Clean and Prepare Tilapia: Clean the fish thoroughly, removing scales and innards. Make a few
slits on each side of the fish to allow the flavors to penetrate.
 2. Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, sauté minced garlic, ginger, and onions until fragrant. This creates a
flavorful base for your dish.
 3. Add Coconut Milk: Pour in the coconut milk. Stir well and let it simmer. Adjust the amount of
coconut milk based on your preference for thickness.
. Seasoning: Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also include fish sauce for an extra layer of flavor.
 5. Cook Tilapia: Gently place the tilapia into the simmering coconut milk. Let it cook for about 10-15
minutes or until the fish is cooked through. Be careful not to overcook; you want the fish to be tender.
 6. Add Chili Peppers: If you like a bit of heat, add sliced chili peppers for that extra kick. Adjust the
amount according to your spice preference.
 7. Serve: Once the fish is cooked, serve the Ginataang Tilapia over rice. Make sure to ladle some of
that delicious coconut milk sauce over the fish.
