Dear Sirs,

As an experienced Managing Director, I was excited to see openings for Property or Estates positions. Having read
through your position requirements I am very confident that I would be a great addition to the National Trust. I
believe my wealth of experience will bring a valuable addition to the team.

I am proud to say that I have ample experience of each of the duties listed for the position. Management,
especially hands on, planning and provisioning of maintenance has been a good focus for me, and the keeping of
records essential to any of the projects that I have been involved with. Security too has been a primary objective.
In my background, where quite often infrastructure and support has been missing, I have accumulated a wide
range of knowledge of various activities and systems which would be highly beneficial to the National Trust should
the need arise to deploy it.

My development of tourist and service projects has resulted in key hospitality venues being created with excellent
support infrastructures inbuilt. The Cove Retreat in Diani, Kenya was a creation of mine and managed by me which
has hosted many a celebrity. Creating software for the management of prime records for tour operators improved
the profit margin in one entity by over 25%. At Apple Mango Apartments, utilising booking systems with
management modules saw occupancy levels maintained at a steady 76% whilst preserving anti Covid health
requirements. Having directly managed staff in excess of 50 on the team I see no difficulty in implementation of
any of the duties required for this position.

Throughout my career I have always concentrated on the interests of the business in hand. Should I be afforded
this opportunity I can assure you that the National Trust interests would always outweigh any other consideration
in any decision making process.
