implementing laws and ordinances, from national and local government, in the barangay.

S.K: Our goal is a long term goal, focusing on livelihood. There are many changes I

Journal Writing

Do you see yourself as a leader in your community? What type of a leader do you see yourself?

I have envisioned myself as a leader in my community, because I thought I had ideas and
plans that could help the community. I want to be the kind of leader that is flexible because I
believe that one type of leadership style can't solve everything since we can face many different
situations and in need of different solutions. So in order for me to become a better leader, I
believe I need to apply the leadership styles such as task-oriented leadership and
people-oriented leadership. The task-oriented is for the technical things I need to do as a leader
while people-oriented is for me to be able to communicate with my people and to have a strong
relationship with them, this way we could be united and be as one community.
