Obtain information that cannot be obtained through observation.

At the end of
teach English class meeting, interviews will also be conducted to gather information
regarding students' reading difficulties as well as the overall teaching and learning
process.
To obtain data from English students in this study, the researcher will use
semi-structured interviews as a data collection technique. By using this technique, the
researcher will have more opportunities to sharpen questions and confirm
information. Interviews will be used to collect data from teachers and students
regarding their difficulties in understanding reading texts. During the interview, the
researcher will record it. Meanwhile, the teacher will be interviewed by the researcher
to confirm some phenomenon found in the classroom and to discover students'
difficulties related to reading. The researcher will select English teachers and students
as subjects based on the research objectives as subjects.
3.4.3. Documentation
Documentation is one of the qualitative data collection strategies carried out
by looking at or studying documents made the researchers or other people. Looking at
or studying documents made the researcher or other people is one of the qualitative
data collection methods. This shows that one of the qualitative data collection
approaches involves looking at or evaluating documents made by the researcher
himself or others. Researcher will use this strategy to collect data from existing
documents, so that the author can obtain information related to the research, such as a
general description of the school, the condition of a teacher and students, archives,
documentation, and so on. The documentation will contain all the activities of the
researcher in completing the research at school starting from the first meeting with
the English teacher, students who will be used as research objects, interviews, and
observations.
