Dear Marcos,

I am writing this email to tell you about the sports I played as a child. I liked to play soccer and
swimming, which I always practiced on weekends at school. I also remember that I played
soccer at school and in the neighborhood with my friends and neighbors. We managed to
participate in a national tournament in Ica where we came in first place. As a child, I also
remember that I liked to watch the games of the team of soccer in Perú. Today I still play soccer
and I also learned to play tennis with my college friends.
Best regards,
Carlos Enciso

Dear Marcos,
I would like to tell you about my first childhood friend, whose name was Fabiola. We had many
things in common like reading books and going out to play sports. The sports we played were
volleyball and basketball, also the books that were our favorites were One Madame Bovary and
The Grapes of Wrath. We both lived in Lima and were neighbors in the Ate district, we attended
the same school called Rosario and we spent recess together sharing our lunch box, then we
went to her house to listen to music and read books. It was a very nice experience to meet her,
and I hope to introduce her to you soon.
Best regards,
Stefany Silva
