of this wood sample if carbon from present-day living material gives 15.3
disintegrations of 14C per minute per gram of carbon. The half-life of carbon-

4. You kept 2100 uCi of P-32 in your safe for 8 weeks before you deliver it to your
customer. How much of the original 2100 uCi is left? (t1/2 = 14.26 days). (5 marks)
