Issue No. 29, September 30, 1997
There have been three incidents of an incorrect cable packed in the INSTALLATION KIT for the 250 ANALYZER.
A 10 foot grey cable that is male/male, Belkin part number F3D111-10 should be in the INSTALLATION KIT.
Packed in the KIT was a female/male cable, Belkin part number F3D112-10. Stock on the assembly floor and Service
Parts Management has been checked for the correct cable. If you need another cable, call TAC to report the incidence
and order part number 994640. You can also use a gender changer from a local electronics shop.

SUPER SPEED SERIAL BOARD Not Seated Correctly
Issue No. 31, July 24, 1998
After installation of the Okidata PRINTER the PRINTER may not print correctly, give 3AH PRINTER CONTROL
* SPACE UNAVAILABLE Error Codes or go off-line. This can be caused by an assembly error where the SUPER
SPEED SERIAL BOARD (SSSB) is not seated correctly.
There are 2 areas of contact between the CONTROL CIRCUIT BOARD and the SSSB, one at the 2 STANDOFFS
and one at the CONNECTOR CN2. The SSSB is fastened with 2 SCREWS into the 2 STANDOFFS, but the
STANDOFFS are not always fastened into the CONTROL CIRCUIT BOARD completely.

This inspection and repair action should occur upon installation of the System, on a PM or on your next service call.
This should prevent the PRINTER from having to be replaced by the Hotline at some future date due to a degradation
in performance related to intermittent continuity,
PRINTERS installed or ordered before May 1998 are possible candidates for the above problems.
