superstars in the country and enjoy highly lucrative contracts for playing the sport.

King Johnson is a 34 year old veteran with a spotless playing record so far. He enjoys one of the greatest
stat lines ever recorded in the sport and offers a team the unique proposition of also offering one of the

The PA Jocks are one of the most decorated teams in the league and have won the 2nd most titles in their
75 year history. However, with a new ownership stepping in, they are looking more ambitious than ever
before. While the new owner of the team understands that Johnson is still a competent player, he expects
the team to start showing even better results sooner rather than later.

Johnson had been with the team for several years, but in recent times, he was injured quite often which
caused concerns for the team. After taking his injuries into consideration, the General Manager called him
for a conversation. The General Manager of the team started the conversation by saying, "We really value
your contributions to the team over the years, but we need to consider the risk factor of your injuries
because of your surgery. We're willing to offer you a two-year contract, but we can't guarantee a longer-
term deal at this point."

While Johnson was glad to receive the offer, he indicated to the General Manager that at such an advanced
stage in his career, he was looking to sign what would probably be his final contract but would still be in
the market for a longer term deal in line with 4-5 years. The General Manager was intrigued and expressed
that if he remained healthy and performed well, the team could exercise an option to extend the contract
by another year. However, Johnson rejected the same.

Having had a Tommy John surgery in the past 3 months, Johnson was looking to secure his future with a
longer term contract in case his injuries flared up again. However, the owner of the team, not deciding on
which direction they are looking to go, is only willing to make a decision on the present, and is only
willing to invest a maximum of two years.
The General Manager of the PA Jocks, Darren Moore, called Johnson to the negotiating table to figure out
if a deal can be reached. As of now, Johnson plays a key role in the team composition which will be
extremely tough to replace in the short term, especially keeping in mind the ambitious new ownership.

So to further discuss and come to an agreement regarding the contract of King Johnson, Darren Moore has
requested King Johnson to come to a negotiation session so as to agree on a contract and deliberate on the
details of the same. Darren Moore is being represented by Victor / Victoria Smith and King Johnson is
being represented by Alex / Alexa Lee.
