First thing first Ukraine was a part of Soviet Union back in days but
unfortunately they get separated after the dissolution on August 24,
1991.Eventhoght they were together the tension between them was high. This
war was started recently but the tension of this war was seen completely in 2014
as Russia attacks Crimea and occupies it, because Ukraine was in terror that they
will also get that kind of result in future.so in order to ensure their safety they
were trying to be part of NATO, and this were their big mistake because this
action was not something small for Russia as they were also in terror that if this
goes as it is going someday NATO will attack it. Therefore as a precautionary
measure they attack first to Ukraine. Russia tries to attack them by starting to
fund the separatist group in Ukraine; Russia began to establish a significant
military presence in Belarus, as well as close to its border with Ukraine, starting
in 2021.Initially they denied about any invasion over Ukraine as they get
questioned about their action. Russia has always denied having a direct hand in
the fighting and frequently blames the situation in eastern Ukraine on the
Ukrainian government's inability to attend to the needs of the Russian-speaking
people. Russia has insisted that it upholds and defends the rights of the ethnic
Russian population in Ukraine, and it presents its activities in that regard
.Russia's activities in Ukraine have been denounced by the United States, the
European Union, and other Western nations. Russia is the target of sanctions due
to its annexation of Crimea and purported backing of separatist movements. The
West has advocated for a diplomatic, peaceful end to the crisis and supports
Ukraine's sovereignty.

The conflict in Ukraine, particularly in the eastern regions of Donetsk and

Luhansk, has resulted in significant destruction, impacting infrastructure, homes,
and the lives of civilians. The battle zone's urban districts have sustained
significant damage as a result of shelling and shooting, affecting public
infrastructure, residential areas, and structures. People’s everyday life in the
impacted areas have been significantly impacted by disruptions to these vital
services. A humanitarian catastrophe has resulted from the fighting, forcing
thousands of civilians from their homes. Numerous people have fled to
neighboring countries or other regions of Ukraine, taking temporary shelter. The
relocation has put a strain on available resources and made it more difficult to
provide needs like food, housing, and healthcare. Both military soldiers and
civilians have lost a great deal of their lives as a result of the fighting. Production
and commerce have decreased in the impacted regions as a result of the conflict's
disruption of economic activity. Businesses, industries, and agricultural pursuits
have all suffered, which has caused the economic downturn. Russia sells natural
gas to Europe via Ukraine, a major transit nation. Gas supply delays brought on
by tensions between Russia and Ukraine have occasionally affected energy
markets and raised worries about energy security in Europe. Talks over
diversifying energy supplies and channels to lessen reliance on certain providers
have been spurred by the war. Russia is subject to other penalties as a result of its
war declaration. Trade and commercial relations throughout the world have been
impacted by these sanctions as well as Russia's responses. Restrictions on doing
business with Russia have presented difficulties for some businesses and
industries, which has changed the dynamics of global commerce. The world is
facing economic crisis but the most who is suffering is Russia because Russia
got various sanction and thus its import export is banned also its currency is
losing its value. In Russia every western company is closing their branch thus
creating a mess in Russia. A study showed that every day Russia has to pay a
total sum of 20 billion dollars because of war which is a huge part of its
economy. 33 airspace company banned Russia meaning that there airplane would
not fly in their country resulting Russian tourist who were outside of country
impossible to return back. Even tech companies had withdrawn their stores from
Russia. As for world economy it is also heavily affect by this war. The energy
sector is one of the main ways that the war has affected the global economy. An
important transit nation for Russian natural gas shipments to Europe, Ukraine,
has been at the epicenter of worries over energy security. Gas supply delays
caused by tensions between Russia and Ukraine have occasionally affected
energy prices and brought attention to weaknesses in the world's energy
infrastructure. In order to reduce geopolitical risks, the war has sparked
conversations about diversifying energy supplies and channels. These causes a
heavy rise in price of energy.

Even though at this time this war is still continuing the effects are getting mild
and mild because this war had been fought for a very long period time thus both
countries artilleries are getting empty. Although this war was only fought by two
countries one the second superpower Russia and the second, former part of
Russia Ukraine the impact and inflation on everything was faced by everyone
and it caused us so much inconvenience. Though Russia was a superior country
than Ukraine still Russia haven’t captured Ukraine completely it’s because there
are fellow countries and also organization backing Ukraine.
