protection output of 180W continuous. 4-day battery autonomy WITH 16

Location of operation: Pakistan (safe area)
Description: Solar electric generator (SEG) configured as 24V DC for the above
load, 96 hour battery autonomy (to 80% DOD), complete with cathodic
protection controller. Comprising:
Solar Array: 2,640 peak Watts (minimum), comprising 16 solar modules type
Solapak SSL165W (nominal 12V) with aluminium frame. High strength design
1.1 tested to 5400pa. Module designed specifically for industrial off-grid battery
charging application. Manufactured by Solapak in the UK in accordance with IEC
61215-1. Data sheet supplied with this quotation;
High-level PV array structure galvanised and finished for a life expectancy in excess
of 50 years. Galvanised to BS EN ISO1461. Supplied complete with all module

fixing bolts, ground mounting (to concrete base) and associated hardware. Bird
spikes included on the top row of modules;
Charge Controller: MSRx4 in Painted steel, IP66, lockable enclosures. Complete
with battery isolation, battery-mounted temperature sensor and communications

25+ years (no maintenance);
Battery Bank: Capacity = 24V, 1,382Ah@C100. Comprising 12 series connected

4 For local materials, PO placed on Metal & Pipeline Protection (Private) Limited
5 Ex-Works Delivery for local materials: 24 weeks after receipt of PO

CLARIFICATIONS:

1 No MTC available for locally manufactured items. Testing, if required, is responsibility of PPL
2 No test posts included for feeder lines
3 Anode test reports limited to manufacturer's certificates

NOTES:

To avoid multiple loading, unloading and handling of materials, inspection is to be carried out at our works. Once material has left Karachi, no further inspection will

take place. There will be no re-inspection at site or any rejection of material from site.
2 NOTICE FOR INSPECTION: NOT LATER THAN 4 MONTHS FROM ORDER.
3 Accomodation and mesing for 1 engineer, 2 technicians gratis. Tenting facility for boring crew within facility required.
INSTALLATION: Completed within 4 months after delivery of materials to site by PPL, installation of isolation flange kits or supply of solar system or issuance of

Commencement Letter, whichever is later.
5 Any additional taxes imposed by the Federal Government during pendency of the contract will be to your account.
6 Termination boxes will be installed by PPL plumber
7 Free access to to ground bed and solar sites are responsibility of PPL
8 Isolation flange kist and surge diverters are to be arranged by PPL
9 For uncompleted feeder lines, cable will be left at closest point
