Sub: ISC Essay writing competition on COP28

UAE is the Host Country to the upcoming UN Climate Conference COP28 in Dubai. The
proceedings in this respect, will generate considerable international publicity and goodwill. Huge
efforts are being made by all entities in the UAE to ensure it becomes a lasting success.

On it’s part, India Social Centre is initiating an awareness campaign throughout Abu Dhabi. ISC
has always rendered it’s resources & services towards the betterment of humanity.

The future of our country are our students. Each student takes the awareness home to the family,
thereby spreading its reach. So we start by involving students in the 8th , 9th , 10th , 11th & 12th
grades., of all Abu Dhabi Schools.

Each participating student will participate in essay writing competition (a single page answer in
English or Arabic), to the following topic: “ In what way is COP28 relevant to my life “

The written essay will be conducted in ISC on Thursday 14th December 2023 at 7pm. Written
essay submissions will be evaluated and the best answers will be eligible for a certificate and a
prize and posted on the ISC web page.

All members are requested to encourage the children to register and participate in the essay writing
competition. Check Google form link for more details.
