Greetings!

The World Scholar's Cup is an international team academic tournament and enrichment program
conducted in over fifty countries. Each year, all teams explore and debate a current global theme.
The theme for the WSC Delhi regional round will be “A World Renewed”. Students are expected to
read up and do their own research based on the subject details and guidelines available on
www.scholarscup.org/subjects/

The competition will be held under two divisions: Junior, for students ages 11-13, and Senior, for
ages 14 and up. Only students born on or after January 1, 2008 may participate in the Junior
Division. Any team with at least one student born before January 1, 2008 will be considered a Senior
Division team.

Every World Scholar’s Cup round have four main events: Team Debate, Collaborative Writing,
Scholar's Challenge and Scholar's Bowl. The single best starting point for learning more about the

We at G.D Goenka Public School, Sarita Vihar, bring the opportunity for your ward to participate in
the World Scholar’s Cup Delhi regional round, scheduled for October 1st and 2nd, 2022 for the
Junior Division and October 1st and 3rd, 2022 for the Senior Division. The event will be hosted by
Maxfort School, Dwarka, New Delhi.

You are requested to send the registration fee of INR 3000 (cash) for participation and the
duly filled consent slip by Monday, August 22, 2022. Please note that the registration fee is
non-refundable.
