Dear Parents

We at G.D. Goenka Public School, Lucknow believe in the holistic development of the child. Keeping this
objective in mind we would like our students to participate in prestigious environment examination,
GREEN Olympiad 2022: for students of Classes IV to XII. Green Olympiad is a value driven project
conducted by TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute).

Like previous years, TERI invites students to participate in thisIndia’s premier annual environment
initiative being organized since 1999prestigious environment examination, ‘GREEN Olympiad’. The
examination serves a dual purpose of testing the environment quotient of students and enhancing their
understanding about issues related to sustainable development. ‘GREEN Olympiad’ is open for students
of Classes 4 to 12 and is divided into 4 levels (Classes 4-5; Classes 6-8; Classes 9-10; and Classes 11-12).
Over the years, GREEN Olympiad is endorsed by National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC),
UNESCO, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).
