ASINs.

Manually Yanked ASINs
In this section, you’ll learn more about what a Manually Yanked ASIN is, and how to handle
contacts about these.
If Amazon removes or blocks a product, we refer to it internally as a Manually Yanked ASIN. Externally, the website
will show an error message that a product or page was not found. In this case, the seller contacts Seller Support to
ask for help.
If seller complies with all policies and regulations, but a product is still not discoverable, it may be due to the fact
that all Selling Partners have removed the item from their inventory and it shows within our tools as “Tombstoned”.
In this case, the seller simply needs to add it as if it was a completely new product, in order to be able to sell it.
By following the PWF Listings > Manage Listings > Listing not buyable, it shows whether the ASIN is manually yanked
or not.
Additionally, we can find specific information in tools like SPOT or CSI, when an ASIN is manually yanked. Have a look
at the screenshots below on what to look for in the tools.
SPOT - ASIN Troubleshooting View -> verify if ASIN is discoverable (showing in green), or not discoverable (showing
in red) in the ASIN Information overview.

CSI – Simple Reconciled Product Data View -> verify the reason for manually yanked (if restricted, recalled, brand
protection, etc.)
Once you identified the reason for removal or block, you can proceed with the related SOPs and relevant next steps.
Additionally, review related SOPs for additional research steps. Recommended SOPs to follow for listings not
buyable:
Start with the SOP What Happened to My Listing and go through it to identify, if it solves the seller’s issue.
If it does not solve the seller’s issue, or does not include the seller’s issue, proceed to using the SOP Handle a
Contact about an ASIN Removed from a Marketplace and follow the indicated steps.
If Manually Yanked does not apply to the selling partner’s issue, use the SOP Gating for Non-Gating Associates, or
the SOP Tombstoned ASIN FAQ, for additional research options.
