Introduction to the Parent-Child Games Program (PlayPaper craft) in Parents with

Children Aged 3-5 Years in Preventing EmergenciesGadget Addictive

Preschool-age children are the stage where children begin to observe behavior and will
imitate that behavior. The use of gadgets in children has increased since the pandemic,
thereby increasing the risk of addictive gadgets. Actions that can minimize the use of
gadgets is to provide other activities. Parent-Child Games Program (PlayPaper craft) is
a program that demands the role of parents in engaging in play with children, by
increasing parental knowledge by providing health education. With this program, it is
hoped that children will use gadgets according to the recommended time limits and
other children's needs can be met. The purpose of this community service is to prevent
the occurrence of addictive gadgets in children aged 3-5 years through the Parent-Child
Games program.Paper craft) in Sumberbulu Village, Mojogedang District. This
community service uses a method, namely lectures. The activity was carried out on
December 23, 2022. As a result of the implementation of this community activity, 15
parents of students participated. The response from this activity was very good, because
parents can find out about games and the importance of accompanied games and
parents are involved in these games and how to implement gadget management in
children aged 3-5 years. This can be seen from the results of the feedback showing that
the child's activity schedule has become more organized and the child's time accessing
gadgets is more limited by parents.
