Sports Event Proposal: Barangay Volleyball Tournament

I. Introduction:
Overview of the proposed volleyball tournament.
Objective: Promote community engagement, health, and camaraderie through a friendly volleyball
tournament within the barangay.

II. Sports Activity:


Volleyball Tournament
Format:
1.Teams: Open to all interested barangay residents regardless of age, with teams formed by interested
participants. Minimum 6 and maximum of 10 players per team.
2.Categories: Men's and Women's
3.Tournament Structure: Round-robin followed by knockout rounds.
4.Prizes: Trophies, medals, or certificates for winners in each category.
Schedule: June 16,2080 – June 31,2080
Venue: Barangay Kauswagan Covered Court

III. Sports Committee:


1. Event Coordinator: Oversees the entire event, ensures smooth execution, and liaises with the
barangay officials.
2. Registration and Logistics Coordinator: Manages team registrations, organizes player lists, and
coordinates logistics such as venue setup and equipment.
3. Referee Coordinator: Recruits qualified referees, schedules matches, and ensures fair play
throughout the tournament.
4. Public Relations and Communication Coordinator: Handles communication with participants,
creates promotional materials, and ensures the event is well-publicized within the barangay.
5. Finance and Budget Coordinator: Manages the budget, handles funds, and ensures financial
transparency.
6. Safety and First Aid Coordinator: Ensures the availability of a first aid station, coordinates with
medical personnel, and oversees participant safety.

IV. Budget Plan:


Income Sources:
1. Registration Fees: Collect a nominal fee from each participating team to cover basic expenses
amounting to ₱50 per team members amounting to ₱300 minimum per team.
2. Sponsorship: Seek sponsorship from local businesses, community members, or barangay
officials.

1. Venue Rental: Allocate funds for renting the venue, including any necessary permits.
2. Equipment:
