The Host School Concept encompasses our relations with an educational institute. In every
city, there can be only one Host School. This can be a school/college/university. Following is
the list of deliverables to and from both parties.
b) Auditorium or Ground on a Friday evening for the Opening ceremony with Technical
Set up
c) Food i.e. Basic Veg Lunch and High Tea for up to 300 participants (meal component
can be decided by the school)
or a Guarantee of 100 students participating
d) Stall space for up to 10 stalls. These could be traditional 10x6 stalls or even a desk
with a chair. The school is at the liberty of denying/ accepting any particular
company/organization/body to put up a stall. (Optional)
3. Allowing & encouraging students from the school to participate in the concourse in the
capacity of organisers or participants
4. I.I.M.U.N. will brand the school on the following places as title sponsor in the following
places:
5. The letter head of the institute along with the I.I.M.U.N. logo is used for all
communication purposes that is for inviting
a) Dignitaries
b) Schools
c) Sponsors
d) Media
6. Speaker slot in the opening ceremony for up to 15 minutes is given to the Head of School
and 10 minutes in the closing ceremony
7. 1-3 performances can be put up by the students of the institute in the opening/closing
ceremony in synchronization with the message/theme of the ceremony
8. Presiding Officers Judging Panel: The India’s International Movement to Unite Nations
shall in regards to substance of the conference provide for the following:
9. Organizing Volunteer Council: The institution will appoint a teacher in charge who will
select 20 students from Grade X or above. These students should be selected and contact
details must be shared within 1 week of signing the contract. Once selected these students
shall have weekly skype/ video conference training meetings with the I.I.M.U.N. team
from Mumbai on a date & time mutually agreed upon by both. The students will be trained
in management. The five best students shall be given junior judging positions in the
conference. The best organizing council member shall be offered a fully sponsored
internship opportunity during summer/winter at the Mumbai headquarters of I.I.M.U.N.
where we will take care of their travel & stay. The decision of selection of the best
Organizing Council Member shall be a joint decision between the school and I.I.M.U.N.
10. Organizing the conference: I.I.M.U.N. shall appoint atleast 2 people within a week of
signing the contract whose details will be shared in an official email sent by the Chief
Mentor of I.I.M.U.N. These two people shall be the only designated people responsible for
communication to the school. They shall also be responsible for the following:
a. Inviting Schools: Final list of participating schools and students shall be given
to the host school 1 week prior to hosting the event. The participating students
shall be invited from institutions in the state where the conference will be held.
11. Management of the conference: I.I.M.U.N. shall be entirely responsible for the management
of the conference along with the 20 Organising Council Members of the school.
12. Exclusivity: I.I.M.U.N. shall work with only one host school per city for the duration of the
contract. The school also hereby agrees to work with only one such organisation which
conducts simulations and workings of local, national and international relevance and only
organise one such conference. However, school is free to participate in other such events
and conference.
14. Kindly note IIMUN shall charge every participating student a standard registration fee for
the Chapter conference. The fee will be used by IIMUN for the pre-conference work,
administrative work, on days expenses, guest travel, food expenditure and substance related
work.
15. This agreement shall stand from 5th June, 2023 to 5th September, 2026. Either party
can rescind the contract giving a 6 months’ notice to each other. Any dispute arising
from the said contract shall be resolved by arbitration and thereafter in the Bombay
High Court.
