Part1 Installation
Before installing the chiller, please choose a place with flat base and broad-view surrounding.

The place should provide protection from corrosion, wind and water. Select matching water tower

according to the volume to be cooled (Forced air cooled type does not need water tower).

Configure pipelines and tubing of the chiller according to the magnitude of the machine. To avoid

bringing up high-pressure overloaded and affecting the effect of cooling and add usage of

electricity volume, please do not dwindle in size. (Notice: the chilled water pipe for the new

installed machine must contain thermocline ) The chiller of the forced air cooled type should be

installed 1 meters away from walls to avoid dispersing heat badly and bringing up high-pressure

overloaded and affecting the effect of cooling and add using of electricity volume, please do not

let size and standard dwindle in size

NOTICE: When choosing of the power supply load and the earth wire, please closely follow local

laws and regulations.

Part2 Operating method


When running the machine for the first time, check whether the following items are correct:

1. Please refer to the nameplate to check whether the voltage of power supply and phases match
the model and standard of the machine. (NOTICE: Power supply of 3HP and the above should

use 3 phases and 4 wires power supply. The phases and wires of 380~415V,50HZ are R,S,T

and N(Neutral conductor),the earth conductor is double colored wire labeled E; Power

supply below 3HP uses single phase for power supply. The single phase and wires of 220~240V,

50HZ are L(Phase line of power supply),N (Neutral conductor ) and E (Earth wire).

2 .Check whether the mouth of cooling water and circulating water are connected to the pipe and
keep the valve open (Please refer to the installation drawing)

3. Run the water pump only after you have filled the cooling water tank up with water or other
cooling medium. (Notice: Select the cooling medium according to the instructions)

4. Check whether the direction of the water pump and water tower fan are running adversely. (We
assume the phase of power supply of the water pump is three) Change any two phase lines to run

adversely, and close the switch after the phase lines having correctly been connected.

Part3 Operating sequence

1. Be sure that the machine is correctly connected to power supply;

2. Close cooling switch, please make sure that the inlet and outlet valve of cooling water are

ON;(Forced air cooled type does not need water tower)

3. Close cooling switch again. Please make sure that the inlet and outlet valve of cooling water are

ON. The compressor will function automatically after time delay switch closed. Check and adjust

the temperature to needed degree;

4. Shut down the machine opposite to operating sequence 1, 2 and 3.

Part4 Attention
1. Do not run the cooling water pump without any water;

2. Try not to continuously operate switches;

3. It is normal when the compressor stops working automatically because of the cooling

temperature has reached the set temperature;

4. To avoid the evaporator freezing, the temperature switch should not be set under 5℃ except

low-temperature cooling machine.

5. To guarantee the cooling effect and keep the best operating state, please clear the condenser and

the evaporator and the water filter regularly.

APPENDIX 1:

When the condenser disperses heat badly, the compressor works inefficiently and running

current will increase. When the pressure of the compressor of forced air cooled type increases to

24 kg/cm2, and that of water-cooled type is more than 20kg/cm2, the compressor will stop working

for high pressure protection. In this occasion, check whether the circulating cooling water is

normal, the temperature of the cooling water is too high, or water tower, fan and the pump runs

normally. Consider clear the condenser regularly.

APPENDIX 2:

Methods to solve the problem of cooling medium insufficient:

1. When the water temperature is over 5℃ and low pressure gauge indicates less than 2kg/ cm2m,

that is to say medium is insufficient. First, make up the place where cooling medium leaks and

then change the evaporation filter to evacuate water and fill in some cooling medium

2. When you find part of the cooling medium draw in some water, please instantly stop running

the machine and phone the service department of us to prevent further worse damage.

APPENDIX 3:

Check where high/low pressure gauge is in normal state.

The best value of high pressure is 12.5~16 kg/cm2 when water-cooled compressor runs normally

and it should keep under 20kg/cm2 ( the compressor of forced air cooled type 14 ~ 18 kg/cm2

best).If water-cooled pressure is more than 20 kg/cm2 and the compressor of forced air cooled type

24 kg/cm2, the high pressure switch will be broken up. The best value of low pressure is 3.1~4.5

kg/cm2,but never under 2 kg/cm2.If the pressure is less than 2 kg/cm2, the low pressure switch will

be broken up. In this occasion, refer to APPENDIX 2.

If the pressure difference between high pressure and low pressure is small, it indicates that valve

elements of the compressor have been broken or damaged, please stop running the machine and

inform us to repair the machine.

NOTICE: The precondition of all mentioned above is that the compressor is in operation, if the

compressor does not operate, there is nothing wrong with it.

APPENDIX 4:

The compressor does not work even if the indicator lights and all protection switches reveal there

is nothing wrong, please check:

1. Whether the temperature switch is adjusted too high or the switch is damaged;

2. Whether the diverter switch is damaged;

3. Whether the anti – freeze is damaged;

4. Whether the pressure switch is damaged or broken up;

5. Whether the compressor overloaded protector is damaged or broken up;

6. Whether the electromagnetic relay is damaged or overload-protector is damaged;

7. Whether the level of water inner the water tank is too low

8. If the machine is without water tank, please check whether the freezing-water switch is

damaged.

The machine will do not work if the above happened.

Part5 Maintenance
1. Clear the condenser and the evaporator regularly to keep the machine running smoothly;

2. Keep the cooling tower clean, and clear it regularly. Make sure that there are no sundries and

remora inner the cooling tower.

3. If the machine is forced air-cooled type, please regularly clear the radiator and keep the face of

the radiator clean to keep the machine running smoothly;

Part9 The thermostat

1.Operating Procedure
Connect the machine to the power supply, the system starts 6 seconds countdown. The zone PV

displays the version number, and the zone SV displays time. If the key “SET” is not pressed, the

main procedure will start working.

(1)When main procedure will start working, the zone PV displays the acuter temperature, and the

zone SV displays the setting time. At this time, you can press the key “SET” to modify the

parameters by the key “UP” or “DOWN” and press the key “SET” again to exit.

(2)During the time of countdown, press the key “SET” to the interface of factory parameters

setting. Enter password “4561” and you can change input sequence by pressing the key “UP” and

press the key “DOWN” to modify the numbers you have just inputted. After entering password,

press the key “SET” to go into the interface of parameters setting. The zone PV displays “Pr00”, it

means the project 0.You can modify the parameters by pressing the key “UP” or “DOWN”. Press

the key “Comp1” to save and exit and press the key “SET” to exit the interface of parameters

setting. Refer to parameters setting to know about every item.

(3)If there is any error, the zone PV will display “ERR” and the zone SV displays the error code.

You can refer to the table of error code to know about the error. Press the key “RESET” to cancel

the alarming sound. Press the key “RESET” to reset after the fault has been settled.

(4)The key “Comp1” and “Comp2” respectively stand for the running key of the compressor 1 and

the compressor 2.If either of the two keys is pressed, the indicator light led will be on. Only when

the compressors are in operation will the key function.

(5)Indicator Light:

Power: Power supply indicator light

Run: Running state of the machine set

Comp1: Running state of the Compressor 1

Comp2: Running state of the Compressor 2

Err: It indicates there is error

(6)In main interface, press the key “SET” and hold on for a long time to enter the interface of

whether setting lock or not. Enter password “0021”(refer to②) and you can modify parameters by

pressing the key “UP” or “DOWN”. Lock the machine by pressing the key “LOCK” and Cancel

the state of being locked by pressing the key “OFF”. Press the key “SET” again to exit.

4. Energy adjuster
(1)Run the machine: Press the key “PUMP” to run the machine --> Run the cooling pump -->

(2)Stop the machine: Press the key “STOP” to stop the machine -->Stop all the compressors-->

Time delay (It can be set) --> Stop the fan -->Time delay (It can be set) -->Stop the cooling pump.

(3)Energy adjusting

a)If the machine has only one compressor:

In the course of temperature increasing, when T>=Ts+△T , it will run the compressor; when

T<=Ts-△T,it will stop the compressor;

b) If the machine has only two compressors:

In the course of temperature increasing, when T>=Ts , it will run one compressor; when

T>=Ts+△T,it will run all the two compressors; when T<=Ts,it will stop one compressor; when

T<=Ts-△T,it will stop all the two compressors;

(4)When time delay finishes after all compressors stop, the machine has been shut down.
