I. Overview
Tube ice machines have stable system.it is easy to operate and convenient to

produce tube ice.

The main frame of the machine is made of stainless steel to ensure the equipment

is durable and not rusty; the main electrical components are schneider products with

high precision, stable performance and fast response. The compressor is made in

germany, which has good stability and long service life; LG control part are used in plc

to control the input and output of each action.it ensure the reliable operation of the

machines, and make the operation easy.it can save the cost of training for customers.

II. safety precautions

Please read the product manual carefully, so as to use the ice maker correctly;

Please install and repair the ice maker by professionals;

Proper lifting and unloading equipment shall be used according to the actual weight of

the unit;

Do not touch the fan, ice scraper and other rotating parts with fingers, hair and clothes, to

avoid injury to human body.

Take appropriate ventilation to prevent personnel suffocation due to refrigerant leakage

exceeding the limit concentration;

2
Please pay attention to the signs of electrification, high temperature and grounding on the

ice maker to avoid injury;

Pay attention to take appropriate anti freezing measures in winter in cold areas.

III. environmental requirements

The tube ice machine can achieve the best performance under the following

conditions; if it is out of range, the ice maker will not work normally.

specification min max

Ambient temperature 5℃ ≤ 38 ℃

Water temperature 2℃ ≤ 30 ℃

Water pressure 0.1mpa 0.6mpa

Rated voltage deviation - 10% + 10%

IV. working principle

The high-pressure hot gas of refrigerant is discharged from the compressor, and then

3
enters the condenser to cool down and turn into normal temperature liquid.

The refrigerant liquid flows into the liquid pipeline through the dryer, enters the

evaporator in the ice making cylinder through the liquid supply electromagnetic valve,

and exchanges heat with the running water on the inner surface of the ice making

cylinder.

In this way, the water on the contact surface of the evaporator is cooled to ice, and

the refrigerant in the refrigeration system pipeline is heated to a gaseous state.

After that, the gaseous refrigerant is inhaled into the suction pipe, and then sucked

into the compressor. Once again, it becomes high-pressure hot gas and enters the next

cycle.

VI. installation and commissioning

1. Installation

1) the power supply is required to be 380 v / 50 hz/3P;

2) the installation position shall be in a place with good ventilation, avoiding humidity,

far away from heat dissipation equipment and direct sunlight, and the optimal

operating temperature of the unit is 5 ℃ ~ 35 ℃;

3) the ground where the unit is placed must be horizontal and the drainage system is

perfect;

6
4) Provide water for the ice maker

1.1 installation of water supply system

Water inlet: Inlet of water source, with float switch inside. When the water tank is short

of water, the float switch will automatically open, and when the water tank is full, the

float switch will automatically close the water inlet.

Drain outlet: When the equipment is maintained and cleaned, the valve is opened to

drain the water in the water tank; it is closed during normal operation.

1.2 circuit connection

Before installation, connect the power supply meeting the requirements of the

equipment within 5 meters from the place where the equipment is placed.

Measure whether there is phase loss or voltage instability in the power supply,

and connect power supply to machines after confirming that all meet the standards.

The rated voltage of the power supply is 380v, and the maximum allowable deviation is

± 10%.

The power supply of standard ice maker is 380 v / 50 hz

9
2. Unit commissioning

2.1 to start the ice maker for the first time, please follow the steps below:

①Switch on the air switch of the main power supply;

②Open the water supply valve;

③Close the air switch in the electric control box;

Enter the PLC system as follow:

10
Parameter&function setting:

11
VII. check and adjust before work(inspection items at first use)
1. Check and confirm that the power supply is 380V 50HZ 3P

2. Check and confirm that the water supply is normal;

3. Check whether the water tank outlet is closed;

4. Do not use wet hands to operate the switch and operation key to prevent electric

shock

5. Check the rotation direction of ice cutting reducer motor;

6. Check and observe whether the water distributor has water distribution;

7. Check whether the compressor operates normally without abnormal noise.

12
Common problems in first use

Phase sequence / lack of phase alarm:the processing method is as follows: Change Any

two wires of three-phase power lines. For example, if the incoming line is R S T, and the

phase sequence / phase loss alarm is encountered during power on, then the incoming

line can be transposed to R T S.

VIII. precautions for maintenance and use

Maintenance precautions

1. Clean the worktable.

2. Check whether the condenser has accumulated dust.

3. Check whether the grounding wire of the equipment falls off.

4. Check whether the water distributor is blocked.

5. Check whether there is air leakage in the air circuit of the whole machine.

6. Check whether there is dust accumulation at each part of the equipment.

7. Clean the dust in the electric box and check whether the wiring terminals are loose

(maintained by professional electricians)

Precautions for use

Do not cut off the water source when the machine is running

13
When the compressor is started for the first time or has not been used for a long time,

the compressor heater should be electrified for 24 hours before starting the compressor.
